We’ve been struggling in the traffic jam with our camper in the Netherlands for a few days. Visiting family and trying to get a feeling of “not at work”.

We had a good time and arrived back home this afternoon. It was awful hot (for Dutch standards) and I think that’s why I have a little headache.
Coming weekend I will visit Cycle Vision, so just hope the headache will be gone by then.
I got myself a new Powershot ! The old A 95 started to make bad noises when it adjusted the lens. I am quite sure that means that trouble lies ahead ;-(
So I bought another Powershot. I decided to buy the G 10. Small, easy to use, but at the same time with high quality. And it has the possibility to use the flash on the second curtain !
So now my old A 95 can be put away in the camera museum ………. It’s a pity, because I have registered many good memories with it.
I want the other bicyclist to hear me when I use the bell.
They didn’t hear me approaching when I used the original bell that is installed inside my Quest; so I bought this large model and put it outside the fairring. I can even use the bell when the cover of soft foam is on my Quest.
Since a few years my colleague Harold had the intention to visit Henk (another colleague who lives in Waarde). Today was the day ! Middelburg-Waarde-Middelburg via the LF-13 cycling route appeared to be 100 kilometers exactly.
Of course I made a short video, just for the record !
Rea updated her website. She finished her Wwoofing-work and went back to Auckland, where she will do some cleaning in the hostel for a free stay.

"It is indeed more worthwhile taking the road less traveled. You are sure to suffer, hurt, curse and get frustrated. But in the end you’ll always come out the other end with more than a tale. You’ll have spot in your memory that will always take your breath away every time you revisit it."
